Temporary Placements

Our Recruiters perform all screening, interviewing and reference checking prior to placement. Once the performance of the Temporary Associate has been evaluated over the temp-to-hire period, the Client Company can convert the employee to a direct employee at no extra cost; or avoid over staffing and utilize the Temporary Associate on a contractual basis as business permits. Direct-Hire Placements

Direct-hire placements give employers the opportunity to hire top candidates immediately and offer candidates more stability. This approach enables employers to save time by alleviating time consuming recruiting functions such as posting jobs through newspaper and internet job boards, resume review, interview scheduling, pre-employment testing and reference checking. All DeLong Staffing Specialists candidates are thoroughly screened through our multi-faceted screening process. Upon initial contact, our candidates are phone screened which is followed by a formal face-to-face interview prior to Client submission. Prior to placement, reference checks and background screenings, per Client specifications, are conducted. DeLong Staffing Specialists participates in the DFSP (Drug-Free Safety Program) and all DeLong Staffing Specialists candidates are drug tested within 24-hours of any job offer made by a Client Company. It is company policy that all DeLong Staffing Specialists Temporary Associates watch the Drug-Free Workplace Program video prior to employment and participate in annual safety training seminar to ensure safety in the workplace.
